QuickEstate™ does not probate application forms for the following reasons:
- a) The probate application process and the required forms vary widely across jurisdictions (province to province, state to state, even county to county), so it is impossible to create a “one size fits all” probate template.
- b) The circumstances of each estate are unique so each estate requires a different set of forms. In most jurisdictions, there are several forms to complete, even for the simplest estate. While the same information is being collected in every jurisdiction, no two forms look alike. And the executor has no choice but to use the forms specific to that jurisdiction.
c) Most probate forms are detailed and contain a lot of legal terminology. Providing guidelines for understanding and completing legal documents is beyond the scope of QuickEstate™.
