The first step is to select an estate package from the pricing page and complete the purchase. If you have been introduced to QuickEstate™ by a professional advisor, enter their Advisor Code to receive a significant discount. Once that is complete we will enter into a QE Client Services Agreement that includes our commitment to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your data.
After you complete the purchase process a QuickEstate™ Trust Officer will contact you to begin the estate organization process. Trust officers are subject to background checks and sign a legal contract with strict client privacy and confidentiality clauses. All communication between Trust Officers and our clients are recorded and audited for quality assurance.
At the conclusion of the estate organization process, your “My Estate” binder, containing your estate information, quick start instructions and value-added content for your executor, will be sent to you by registered mail. Upon receipt of the binder, you must sign and return our Transition of Data Authorization Form. For security purposes, this form allows us to transfer confidential information to the agent or executor of your choice when the time comes.
As time passes, who’s involved and what’s involved in your estate may change and need to be updated. Our Annual Data Storage and Update Fee covers secure storage of your data and an update call from a QE Trust Officer, which you may accept or decline. During the updates, we also confirm any changes to your Transition of Data Authorization Form. Should your data need updating, replacement pages for your “My Estate” binder are sent to you by registered mail.
Security of client data is very important to us. Your binder includes a Transition of Data Authorization Form. Should you lose mental competency your Authorized Agent, under an Enduring Power of Attorney, can provide QuickEstate with the necessary documents and continue to use our service. When you pass away, your Authorized Executor will provide QuickEstate with the necessary documents and access to your data through the Estate Executor toolkit.
Having immediate access to who’s involved and what’s involved in your estate is a game changer for your executor, putting them many months and thousands of dollars ahead. Your executor will create their own user ID and password and immediately begin to execute their duties. Other than the Annual Data Storage Fee, there is no additional cost to your executor, for as long as they need the toolkit. The Annual Data Storage Fee is chargeable back to the estate and may also be tax deductible by the estate.
Named executor for someone else? The Estate Executor toolkit can be purchased as a stand-alone product. This will allow you to get started before they pass away.
